EDGE Talent Spotlight: Skye Townsend
We’re currently all about this talented young woman! A little while back, one of our EDGErs said she really wanted to see Skye on EDGE and we finally got around to checking out her flyness. Not only is she a talented musician but she has a crazy way with words and is HILARIOUS!
We spent the last couple of days stalking going through her videos and music and have decided on what we feel is the perfect way to introduce her to our EDGErs.
Here’s a little bit about Skye:
* daughter of legendary filmmaker Robert Townsend
*series regular in BET’s original webseries “8 Days A week”
* began making YouTube videos impersonating the likes of Beyonce and Nicki Minaj to get her name out there
*has released a dope EP, generated over a million views on YouTube and still manages to have awesome hair and fashion sense! *3 snaps in a circle*
