How to Help: Tornadoes in the Midwest
Over the past two days, tornadoes have ripped through the midwest, causing damage to various cities. Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota and most of all, Missouri have suffered a great deal of damage. There has been one fatality in a small eastern town of Kansas and twenty homes ruined. Wisconsin suffered significant damage and no injuries. Minneapolis has reported one death and 29 injuries so far with damage to the Northside of the city. The city that needs the most help right now is Joplin, Missouri. There is no fatlity or injury count that is final at the moment. As the hospital is damaged from the tornado that hit earlier today, Joplin needs all the volunteering the city can get.

JOPLIN – If you know of people in Joplin attempting to get assistance, tell them to call 2-1-1 or go to the 2-1-1 website.
A Facebook page has also been set up to coordinate volunteer recovery efforts.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is asking all first responders to report to the command post at 34th Street and Main Street in Joplin. Missouri Task Force 1 has been deployed to aid in search and rescue.
